London, june 2001. Rolleiflex SL35 + Distagon 35mm, Ilford Delta 100. Having endured a few "Carry On" films, I knew the Poms had certain hangups, but these phone booths were simply too much, being plastered from floor to ceiling with lewd phone numbers for certain "services". I went about a bit in search of a particularly "decorative" one (they're not in the usual tourist locations), and found this one near St. Pancras station. Holding the door open with one leg while operating the camera and composing the shot was quite an acrobatic feat (as the weird looks from passers-by confirmed). Still, it paid off IMHO. I just love the one that says, "All pathetic wimps report now!" :^) (48/51)
